- Function:
We are currently seeking inviduals who enjoy working in fast-paced environments with high levels of customer interaction to: assist parts personnel and customers with products, and service related duties. Stock and re-order product inventory and merchandise. Prepare warranty forms and process as necessary. Enter and assit customers with repair orders. Assist service department with finding necessary information for completing repair orders.
- Responsiblilties:
-Read catalogs, microfiche viewers, or computer displays in order to determine replacement part stock numbers and prices
-Receive and fill telephone orders for parts
-Fill customer orders from stock
-Prepare sales slips or sales contracts
-Receive payment or obtain credit authorization
-Take inventory of stock
-Determine replacement parts required, according to inspections of old parts, customer requests, or customers' descriptions of malfunctions
-Advise customers on substitution or modification of parts when identical replacements are not available
-Examine returned parts for defects, and exchange defective parts or refund money
-Mark and store parts in stockrooms according to prearranged systems
-Assist with work orders (opening and closing), compile estimates of repair costs, and secure customers' approval to perform repairs
-Listen to and resolve customer questions regarding services or products
- Qualifications:
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
*Customer service experience
-Knowledge of basic computer functions
-Good communication skills (verbal and written)
