PARTS COUNTER SALES

Position: Parts Counter Sales
Type: Full-Time

We are looking to expand our team at one of the oldest family-owned powersports dealerships in Alaska. We are seeking an individual who is a self-starter and interested in working in a high paced environment. This position is for parts counter sales as well as acting as a service writer for the service department. The individual will have to be knowledgeable and self-educate themselves on the latest in powersports parts and accessories. The individual will also have to regularly communicate and act as a liaison between service department and customers. Applicant should be a powersports enthusiast! Job duties and requirements include but not limited to:
- Provide quality customer service to new and existing customers
– individual is responsible for creating and maintaining a pleasant buying environment for the customer
- Posses strong analytical, written, and communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects with ease
- Must be proficient with computers and willing to learn to use the DMS – EVO Lightspeed
- Ability to assist customers with their needs, wants and requests with over the counter parts sales
- Ability to pull parts for repair orders, service writing for service technicians and acting as a liaison between service department and customer
- Ability to maintain parts and accessory inventory – includes ordering and receiving through DMS
- Responsible for understanding and following parts and service department processes and policies
- Individual must remain educated on the latest accessory options available for powersports vehicles
- Willingness to learn and maintain up-to date parts and service training
- Follow safety rules and regulations and maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Willingness to grow the over the counter parts sales and service business
- Individual must be able to stand for long periods of time and be able to lift over 50 pounds
- Applicant must possess a valid drivers license, motorcycle endorsement preferred

This is a full-time position with hourly pay D.O.E. Applicant should be able to arrive on time and be flexible with schedule changes. SMALL ENGINE MECHANIC

Position: Small Engine Mechanic
Type: Full-Time
Pay: DOE
Experience: 2 Years
Education: HS Diploma or GED

Seeking an experienced small engine mechanic for fast paced environment at a local powersports dealership. Mechanic must provide their own tools and have a valid driver’s license – M1 endorsement preferred, but not required. Applicant should be able to work independently as well as be a team player and strive to provide top quality customer satisfaction. The individual should have excellent problem-solving skills, product knowledge, ability to multitask, focus on quality of service, and possess a disciplined work ethic. Individual should have at least two years of experience with small engines and be willing to work on all makes and models within the powersports industry.

Job duties include but not limited to:
- Building units upon delivery and performing a thorough walk through with the customer
- Performing regular services and maintenance on customer vehicles and the ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues
- Ability to read and reference service manuals, and prepare necessary forms or documents for specific job assignments
- Individual must be willing to learn and maintain up-to date technical training
- Must have basic computer skills and be willing to learn how to use various computerized diagnostic equipment
- Ability to operate fork lift / loader
- Ability to lift in excess of 80 pounds, and frequently maneuver up to 800-pound vehicles (i.e. ATVs, Side x Sides, Watercrafts, etc.)
- Follow safety rules and regulations and maintain a clean and organized work space
- Must have customer service skills and be able to represent the business in a positive manner

Seeking a powersports enthuist to build and assemble new units at a local powersports dealership. Individual must provide their own tools. Applicant should be able to work independently as well as be a team player and strive to provide top quality customer satisfaction. The individual should have excellent problem-solving skills, product knowledge, ability to multitask, focus on quality of service, and possess a disciplined work ethic. 

Job duties include but not limited to:
- Building units upon delivery per manufacture guidelines
- Read instructions from assembly manual (English) 
- Ability to read and prepare necessary forms or documents for specific build
- Individual must be willing to learn
- Ability to lift in excess of 80 pounds, and frequently maneuver up to 800-pound vehicles (i.e. ATVs, Side x Sides, Watercrafts, etc.)
- Follow safety rules and regulations and maintain a clean and organized work space
- Must have customer service skills and be able to represent the business in a positive manner

Various positions available, part-time and full-time position with hourly pay D.O.E. Applicant should be able to arrive on time and be flexible with schedule changes. Applicant should be reliable and be present on days/time agreed to work. Applicant must be committed to maintaining positive relationships with customers, co-workers, and owners.
